This is my fourth time in Sandakan. Too bad that it was for business matters or else I can go for a sightseeing and have a 'happy time' just for myself haha XD
Generally, people were amused by the seafood eateries and products whenever they go to Sandakan (particularly the West Malaysian people) since it's much cheaper and has reasonable price compared to what they have in Peninsular. Well I'm not very keen on seafood since I'm not a seafood eater so I was leisurely taking my time looking around the market while everyone else busy getting their seafood.

| This is Sim-Sim seafood market area. A famous place for foreigner/tourist to get the fresh seafood. I don't mean to harm the business there but be extra careful when visiting this place. |

| I really enjoyed the forest canopy scenery. There were big and straight lumber from various natural tree species. |

There is Sepilok Nature Resort where you can take a break and recharge yourself after a long day visiting the Orang Utan. The resort looks rich in nature with the bamboo hut design and accompanied by the forest surrounding.

If you have extra time you can visit the
Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre . It's located just beside the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. It was raining during my visit there so I did not manage to spend some time visiting the cute sun bear T.T

A visit to RDC is quite educational and beneficial for those who wants to nurture the environment awareness. The management explained that they actually doing paperwork for environment educational purpose which targeted the youngsters. Those who interested to contribute can contact the RDC management for a good cause.
